Free UN Coalition for Access The UN must treat all media fairly and in a content-neutral way — it cannot pick and choose who may report on it
The UN's position is a contradiction: it claims to champion transparency and press freedom globally, while selectively banning journalists whose coverage it finds inconvenient — on US soil, in violation of the Host Country Agreement. FUNCA exists because that hypocrisy must be named and challenged.

Application submitted June 2025. Formally rejected January 2026. UN Department of Global Communications provided no written basis and described no available review mechanism. Pattern mirrors original July 3, 2018 expulsion.
Pro bono representation requests sent to four leading human rights clinics. NYU Prof. Satterthwaite unable to litigate while serving as UN Special Rapporteur; referred to David Kaye, former UN Special Rapporteur on Freedom of Expression, now at UC Irvine School of Law - now no answer.
